Simon is an author and futurist international keynote speaker. After completing postgraduate studies in foresight and future thinking, Simon worked in scenario planning and strategy development for the global mining company Rio Tinto.
Since leaving Rio Tinto in 2010, Simon has applied his extensive real-world experience in scenario planning and futures thinking to help countless business leaders make better big decisions. Over that time, Simon has also built a reputation as one of Australia’s leading keynote speakers, and he regularly presents at conferences and industry events. Simon is also an author and recently published his third book, 'The Scenario Planning Guide: How scenario planning can be used to align thinking, stimulate ideas, and overcome the inertia of uncertainty'.
